How to Add a Photo of your Sensor to the AlertAQ™ platform?

You can upload a photo of the sensor installation to the AlertAQ™ platform from the app or desktop. This feature allows users to see what the sensor looks like and determine if it's installed correctly.

How to add a photo on the mobile app

• Open the AlertAQ™ app on your mobile device and select the sensor you want to upload a photo for. 

• Select the blue Upload Photo button at the top of the screen. A new menu will appear. Select Take Photo.

• Take a picture of the sensor you want to upload. Make sure the photo shows the entire sensor with a little bit of space around it on all sides (see example). Please note, this isn’t for the calibration photo. After you’ve taken the photo, select Use Photo.

• Your sensor now has a photo.

How to add the photo on a desktop

• When you login, select Sensors from the blue panel on the left-hand side.

• Then select the sensor you want to upload a photo for. You can search for the sensor by its name or serial number.

• A new panel will appear to the right side of the screen. At the very top, select Upload Photo.

• Select the photo you want to upload. The sensor now has a new photo.

• To change the photo of the sensor, select the sensor and click on the arrow in the bottom right corner of the sensor photo.

• To replace the current photo with a file on your computer, select Photo Library.

• To download the current photo to your computer, select Download Photo.
