Yes*.
* With some help. Compound water meters require some special set-up on your end and within our system.
Before you start
You'll need to have two Flowie sensors, one for each meter.
And since compound meters are usually in isolated utility rooms, you may want to bring these items with you for the installation:
- an extension cord (for easier access than an outlet),
- an extension antenna (in case reception is low), and
- a flashlight (if you have a digital outlet with solar cells to activate the display).
Registering a compound meter
Please register each sensor to its own property.
You will be able to use the same address for more than one property in our system. We recommend using the property name to distinguishing between the "High Main" and "Low Main" for up-front identification.
E.g. Naming the first property: 123 Fake Street - High Main
And the second property: 123 Fake Street - Low Main
Every meter will have the size stamped on the dial. The "Low Main" meters will be the smaller size -- 3/4" or 5/8" are the most common. "High Main" meters will be larger -- 4" or 6".
To register your Flowie sensors, create or log in to your Alert Labs account through our online Dashboard or mobile app.
To register a new sensor with the online Dashboard...
Click the "Add Sensor" option from the side bar and follow the walk-through.
To register a new sensor with the mobile app...
Click the Menu (three lines in the top right corner) and then "add sensor". Follow the walk-through.
Repeat the same steps for the second Flowie. When you get to the property page, please select the "Add Property" option to create a new one.
Once you've registered your compound meter
