Please note: |
Most offline or communication issues with Floodie are due to proximity from an orange sensor, or as a symptom of an issue with Flowie.
- Proximity from an orange sensor
Our Floodie companion sensors need to be placed within six floors vertically or 400 ft (120 metres) horizontally of an orange sensor, such as Flowie, to be able to communicate data. The red light means your Floodie does not have a good signal.
To improve the signal, try moving it to a position that is closer to your orange Flowie water sensor. If you need to get the light to come on again, just reset it by taking the batteries out and putting them back in again. - Flowie water sensor issues
As a companion sensor, Floodie relies on the orange sensors' cellular signal to relay information. Consequently, if there's an issue with Flowie or another Alert Labs orange sensor, then the information from Floodie will not be able to be reported.
See above for Flowie communication troubleshooting.
