How to add a sensor

1. To add a Sensor within AlertAQ, go to the Sensors page. 

2. Select “Add Sensor” 

3 (a) If you're using the AlertAQ app on your phone, you can scan the QR code on the sensor or on the box to automatically enter the serial number. Or, you can enter the serial number manually.

3 (b) Enter the serial number for the sensor in the field that says, "Serial number".

4. Select the location where the sensor will live. If the sensor is for a new location select “Add New”

5. Once complete, select Continue. Watch the sensor installation video and select Continue when finished.

6. Fill out all the fields and be sure to give this sensor a new name and upload a new installation image. 

7. When finished, select Save and Close at the bottom of the page.
