Device Radio Communications

Alert Labs companion devices communicate to Alert Labs hub devices with low power, bi-directional, point-to-point radio links using chirp spread spectrum modulation in the licence-free 902 to 928 MHz ISM frequency in band (as shown in Wireless Short-Range Devices: Designing a Global License-Free System for Frequencies <1 GHz). The hub-companion device RF power ranges from 2 to 20 dBm depending on environmental conditions.
