How to install the Flowie-O extension cable?

Once you have your sensor relay installed and connected, insert the batteries into the Flowie-O head and wait for it to connect as well. The light on top with me green when it has successfully connected to the sensor relay. Then it's time to work to set up the extension cable.

Position the end of the extension cable in the same place that you would the Flowie-O head: as low as possible on the side of the meter dial, where it meets the meter body.

Make sure the Alert
Labs logo and the word “UP” are visible and right-side-up.

Secure the Flowie-O Extension Cable to the meter using a zip tie.

Next, connect the Extension Cable to Flowie-O. Remove the rubber plug covering jack on Flowie-O. Insert the extension cable into the jack.

Make sure that the extension cable is inserted as far as possible in order to create a waterproof seal.

Finally, secure Flowie-O in place. It should be in a location where it won’t be moved and the cable won’t be at risk of being disconnected.

If Flowie-O is installed in a pit, it should be secured as high as possible to maximize the communication strength to the Sensor Relay and avoid being submerged.
